Furcation Registration FAQ
We have listened to your feedback regarding registration and we have made quite a lot of changes to the system. We hope that it will be a lot easier to use than in previous years. To help you along, we have some frequently asked questions come up a lot, so we are going to answer them here. Q: What payment types do you offer?
A: You can pay by bank transfer or by paypal. Details of how to pay will be sent to you when your registration is confirmed.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: No. If you think you are going to have difficulty in paying before the deadline, please speak to the registration team.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: While registration is still open, if you need to cancel, we will refund any monies that has been paid to us. Once registration is closed, we are unable to issue a refund as we need to pay John Fowlers Holidays by this point. Extreme circumstances may apply with approval from the Chairman of the event.
Q: What is the minimum/maximum number of attendees per accommodation?
A: The minimum is 1, but they will have to pay for the entirety of the caravan/chalet for the event. The maximum is highlighted on the accommodation types and the cost is split evenly between the number of attendees in that caravan/chalet.
Q: Is food included in the cost?
A: Unfortunately not, however, all accommodation has cooking facilities in to make your own food. There is also a Chef's Corner cafe available as well as an on-site shop. Breakfast packs will be offered, but these are at an extra charge. Details of the contents and how to purchase these will be available during registration.
Q: What do I do if I lose my registration e-mail?
A: No worries! This e-mail is not needed when you check in during registration at the event. What you need to bring will be highlighted later.
Q: Can I register and pay from outside the United Kingdom?
A: Absolutely! However, here is a tip, use Paypal to pay for your registration. This ensures that you are not also paying any International bank transfer fees, however this is entirely your choice.
Q: What do I need to bring on the day?
A: You will need to bring Government approved ID to show to one of our registration team. This can be in the form of an in-date passport, a driving license (provisional or full) or a Government approved ID card that carries the 'PASS' hologram (Citizencard, etc). If you turn up without the above ID, you will not be allowed to attend the event or stay on site and there will be no exceptions.
Q: Can I buy a voucher/Are there any discounts?
A: Unfortunately not.
Q: Can I pay for someone else?
A: Of course. Contact our registration team if you want to pay for someone else. Please bear in mind that if any refunds are requested and payable, they will be returned to the person who paid for the attendance.
Q: Do I get a receipt?
A: You will receive a confirmation of payment once we have received the full amount. This will act as your receipt. If you require anything further, this can be issued by your bank or this will be available on your Paypal account.
Q: Is paying for registration and accommodation done under different transactions?
A: No. The amount you will pay covers your registration to Furcation as well as your accommodation.
Q: Can I change my accommodation?
A: Once this is locked in, you cannot change this through the registration system. If you wish to change your accommodation before the close of registration, please contact our registration team who will be happy to assist. Once registration is closed, we are unable to change accommodation types.
